The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid EV Drive mode gets power from the durable lithium-ion battery set, allowing the new vehicle to be driven solely on electric power for restricted distances with the light load.
The Hybrid Drive mode uses the major electric motor to drive the vehicle, whereas the gas powertrain operates a second motor to replace the power, received from the battery.
