Honda has not yet revealed the engine options of its 2017 HRV but is expected that it will be powered by last year variant,a four-cylinder power plant with the displacement of 1.8 liters i-VTEC. This power unit offers the required power and torque of 141 horsepower @ 6500 and 127 lb-ft @ 4300. Criterion CVT practical transmission will definitely be loaded with the new HR-V and a six-speed gearbox can be purchased as well, as automated. With the manual transmission, fuel consumption should be City 9.3 l/100km or 25 mpg / Highway 7.0 l/100km or 33.5 mpg / Combined 8.3 l/100km or 28 mpg. With CVT gearbox it should be City 8.3 l/100km or 28 mpg /Highway 6.7 l/100km or 35 mpg/Combined 7.6 l/100km or 31 mpg.

Price and the date of release
The release date of the new 2017 Honda HR-V will be during late 2016 or early 2017. Regarding its cost, it is estimated that the new vehicle will be available at a preliminary cost of $20,000 for the LX trim, EX and EX-L Navi trim are up to $30,000 depends on equipment and drive wheels.
