Underneath the hood, the minivan will be powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. This engine will stay the only engine offering, but now we can expect some upgrades on it. It will be capable of generating up to 280 horsepower instead of previous 248 horses. Also, now we can expect the newly transmissions system. Instead of the old six-speed automatic, now we can expect the newly developed nine-speed unit. (The same we can see in the Pilot model)
The upper trims will have 10-speed automatic transmissions system. We don’t have EPA rates at this point, but according to the fact that we can expect 100 pounds lighter chassis as well as newly transmissions system, it is certain that we can expect better fuel economy compared to the previous model.
