The new 2018 Honda Shadow Phantom is a powerful and appealing motorcycle, like every Shadow, built for long ride cruisers. It comes with tons of interesting features like black polished rims and detailed fenders to provide the rider with a pleasurable experience while in use. This beauty is built to differentiate itself from any other bike.
The motorcycle is built and finished with black touches on the engine, rims, tires, and handlebars all of whose accents are matched in exquisite matte in silver color. Seat height is about 30 inches from the ground which isn’t bad at all. Especially for those that are short, it gives them access to the overall control of the bike. The overall weight of the bike is 560 pounds. It has a rear drum brake and a 41 mm fork travel with dual shocks for adjustability purpose, and a wheelbase of 64.6 inches. Furthermore, there are firm 120 mm tire is matched to the front (120/90-17M/C) of the bike while there is a 160 mm tire behind (160/80-15M/C) with nicely laced rims and fenders that give a violent accent. The overall chrome build provides a classic and scintillating styling on the outlook of the bike.
The exterior pozes a gangster feel due to its build and also gives the feel of “bikes aren’t about blings”. The suspension ration is highly sufficient to deliver quick and blazing response due to its single 296 mm brake and a caliper coupled with the double piston. This bike has a multi-plate clutch that can be seen from the inside. The exterior also boasts an enviable large tail light to signal indications correctly with a narrow seating style to complement the low seat characteristic thereby encouraging flat-footing. Finally, there are two available colors, Light Silver Metallic and Matte Black Metallic.

2018 Honda Shadow Phantom Engine
The engine is finished with a 745cc and a 52 degree V-twin black colored engine with a reliable configuration. Every cylinder in the engine is embellished with 3 valves and a 5-pace gearbox for quick transmission. The cylinder still contains two plugs and a contemporary transmission. The Honda Shadow boasts 44.6 horsepower and a maximum rotation speed of 5,500 rpm (rotation per minute), and torque is weighed at about 47.9 lb-ft with the highest rotation output of 3,500 rpm coupled with an overall mileage at 56 mpg. It also boasts an electric starter.
Honda claims that mileage will vary depending on ride pattern, road construction, proper maintenance, pressure on tire, accessories, and weight of rider or passenger. But all in all, it is a small engine and said to have a minimum fuel consumption that falls to as low as 34 mm PGM-FI. A full tank (3.7 gals.) on the Shadow should last little above 200 miles which can be predicated on ride style. There is reserve of 0.9-gal. Compression ratio is 9.6 to 1 with a stroke and bore of 76 mm and 79 mm respectively. The shaft allows for smooth operations that comes with low maintenance.

Honda Shadow 2018 Price and Release Date
with the behavior in price from previous year models, the Honda shadow 2018 should start an entry level of $7,800. Prices usually get an augmentation of few dollars over the years. For example, the 2017 Honda Shadow had a price tag of $200 higher than that of 2016 model, however, it is likely that we witness the same outcome in 2018. it should be available in the market from early August of 2017. The Shadow comes in black and silver colors.
