Honda is bringing a prototype of one of its upscaled new model car, placed on top of the lineup of Honda Civic sedan. The 2018’s North American International Auto Show of Detroit is going to witness the launch of the 2019 Honda Insight Concept. When first launched in 1999, the two-door Honda Insight was America’s first hybrid vehicle and Honda has employed the Integrated Motor Assist hybrid system very first time in that vehicle. Now the all-new Insight is a five-passenger sedan with lively stance and elegant styling. You will see new moves of packaging, styling cues as well as performance. This new concept sedan will be assembled at the same plant where CR-V and Civic are manufactured, the Company’s Indian Plant at Greensburg.

2019 Honda Insight Concept Interior/Exterior
At this point in time, there is not much to discuss regarding the interior and exterior look of the new Honda Insight. However, as Honda claims the new Insight will get all new body with subtle styling cues and dynamic features. It is designed to provide smooth riding experience to its passengers in a calm and cozy ambiance. Just like its predecessors, lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber will be used to manufacture its aerodynamic body, hence boosting its speed.

Engine
The new Honda Insight Concept will be powered by the dual motors hybrid system. The same engine you can find in 2018 Clarity hybrid and 2018 Accord hybrid. Fuel economy and other specs are not revealed yet but according to Honda, it will be able to compete with other compact cars’ specs. As soon as we get the official pieces of information we will update.
Price and Release date
The Honda Insight Concept 2019 will be the fifth in a row of hybrid vehicles released in past few years. The all-new Insight’s production will begin in the first quarter of 2018 and will be released later in 2018.
