The Honda Odyssey is a 7 to 8 seat minivan. It was redesigned in the 2018 and now the company is releasing a new upgraded model in the year 2019. The information about the car is just a rumor but we are getting some inside information about its design, engine, and interior that it may upgrade. New 2019 Honda Odyssey will also be available in six trims like its previous model, the LX, EX, EX-L, EX-L Res and Nav, Elite and Touring. It is expected that the new Honda minivan will give competition to Toyotas Sienna.
Honda Odyssey 2019 Interior
It is expected that some of the interiors of new Honda Odyssey 2019 will remain the same as in 2018 model, but some update is made to give it a new look. This car has the usual capacity to seat 7 to 8 people and focus is given to enhance the functionality of the new model rather than styling. The new addition is that we can slide the second-row seats instead of folding them down. The car offers new push-button transmission and spacious legroom. The steering wheel of the new Honda Odyssey is very comfortable. The gearbox can be controlled by a set of buttons. The infotainment system is the same as the previous models.
The standard screen will be 8-inch Audio display. There will be CabinWatch system which gives you options to see what other passengers doing, on second- and third-row seats. As for the “connection technologies”, there will be 4G LTE inside-car Wi-Fi, CabinControl app, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, Social Playlist (personal family music list), 2.5-amp USB port (two on EX-L trim)…
Some trims will have standard 10-inch Rear Entertainment System with headphones, while others have as available options (currently unknown which trims)

The base of the exterior in the upcoming Honda Odyssey remains the same as its predecessor. However, it has got some fine curves and touches to make it look more stylish and bold. The big LED headlights and taillights and wider grille is Honda’s trademark and can be seen in every Honda model. The car is said to be 500 pounds lighter than its previous models. Rumors are that the car will have larger rims and new body color shades.

Just like its predecessor, the 2019 Honda Odyssey caters the same engine under its hood. It offers 3.5 liters V6 aluminum engine that produces up to 280 horsepower and 262 pounds-feet of torque. It will be available with the front-wheel drive system and the engine will be paired up with the ten-speed automatic transmission but only on Touring and Elite trims. Other trims will have 9-speed automatic. It is much anticipated that it will also be available with All-wheel drive system, however, we do not have a piece of confirmed news about it. We are looking forward to a hybrid version too, considering that this year model didn’t have it. Fuel consumption is 19 mpg city /28 mpg highway /22 mpg combined.
