The 2019 Acura TLX sedan started trading in the US market on April 4, 2018, having undergone a redesign in the course of last year. This car brags about a brand new Platinum White Pearl exterior color, an A-Spec Sport version, and 19-inch alloy wheels. One of the key changes is the discontinuation of the black copper pearl color that was used in the previous models.
2019 Acura TLX Changes, Exterior
The exterior design of this car especially the A-Spec model has new fashionable elements. They include a diamond pentagon grille of matte-black color that has been enclosed by a dark chrome border. There is an assertive lower front panel that includes a wide central air opening that has been bordered by LED fog lights. There is also a dark impression of the patented Jewel Eye LED headlights.
The car uses the 17-inch (standard), 18-inch (P225/50 R18 tires) and 19-inch wheels that have been furnished with a shark grey paint and enclosed with the 245-section tires. The rear upgrades include a shiny black decklid spoiler, 4-inch twin exhaust pipes, latest LED taillights, and a lower diffuser. The car now has more exterior colors than its predecessor. The side window is enclosed by a matte-black color. The rear decklid and the front fenders have an A-Spec mark.

Acura TLX 2019 Interior
The interior features include reinforced front seats with piping and contrast stitching. The piping, as well as the driver’s meter, uses red ambient LED lighting. There is also the pillar coverage and a black headliner. The instrument panel has a decorative aluminum-look. The A-Spec badge has been included on the thick-rimmed steering wheel. There are two interior colors that are distinctive to this model. You can choose either the black color that comes with the door inserts and Alcantara seats, or the bold red leather featured color.
The key standard features include a power driver 10-way seat, push button smart entry and start, twin-screen user interface, and integrated Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other interior features include Acura premium audio system consisting of 10 speakers, AcuraLink services, heated steering wheel, and 360-degree camera system. You will have an opportunity to get the Still Night Blue Pearl premium colorway together with one of the two interior colors.
The 2019 Acura TLX uses two powertrains. The first one is the 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine whose horsepower capabilities is 206 ponies at 6800 rpm and torque of 182 lb.-ft. at 4500 rpm. The transmission system for this engine is a dual-clutch 8-speed quick-shifting system. The second one is a V6 3.5-liter i-VTEC engine that will be used together with an automatic 9-speed transmission system. It has 290 ponies at 6200 rpm and torque of 267 lb.-ft. at 4500 rpm.

The 2.4-liter model is provided with an Acura Precision (P-AWSTM) system which includes a toe angle control for both the right and left-rear-wheel. This improves the car’s handling precision, stability during high-speed, and maneuverability in low-speed. The V6 models are presented in both 2WD and AWD configurations.
Fuel consumptions are: for 2.4 L engine 23 City/33 Hwy/27 Combined, for 3.5 L engine 20 City/31 Hwy/24 Combined, and for 3.5L SH-AWD 20 City/29 Hwy/23 Combined. Fuel tank capacity is 65 liters / 17 gallons.

The car has already reached the showrooms and is costing around $33,000 for the entry-level model. The 3.5L V6 model is priced at $37,165 while the A-Spec trim is going for about $40,365, the most expensive one is TLX 3.5L V6 SH-AWD with advance package $45,950.
