The one thing that is common in these bikes is that they are joyous to ride and easier to handle. The company seems to have built on these features and made a more revolutionized new 2019 Honda Monkey bike model.
2019 Honda Monkey Redesign, Exterior
The next-gen Honda Monkey bike retains the original adorable design of the monkey models. It has a compact design that is accentuated by simple curved surfaces and a trapezoid silhouette. A sparkling 1.47-gallon fuel tank has been painted using the same color as the frame. This combines with the contemporary 3-D Old Wing design for the logo to make it more attractive.

There are also rear fenders and high-mount chrome steel front that looks similar to the original model. You should look forward to seeing a high-rise handlebar, circular mirrors, and reminiscent stamped exhaust shield. The choice of colors will be between pearl nebula red and banana yellow depending on whether you are acquiring the monkey or the monkey ABS model.
In terms of dimensions, the bike uses a 120/80-12 front tire and a 130/80-12 rear tire. The wheelbase is set at 45.3 inches while its trail and rake is 25 degrees per 82 mm / 3.2 inches. The seat has been made from high-density urethane material to make it more luxurious. These features combine with a 30.6-inch seat height to enhance the confidence-inspiring handling of the bike.
Honda Monkey 2019 Equipment
The 2019 Monkey bike comes with a steel backbone frame whish is adjusted to provides a perfect flexible feel and rigidity. It weighs about 234 pounds when its 1.5-gallon tank has been filled with fuel. Its classic look has been modernized to include a digital full-LCD circular meter. This meter features a speedometer, six-segment fuel-level indicator, two trip meters and an odometer.

It uses LED lighting and a wave pattern key that adorns the Old Wing motif. An answer back system has been included to enable easier identification of the bike in a crowded parking lot. The front suspension for this bike comprises of the 4.3-inch travel and 1.22-inch hydraulic telescopic inverted fork. The rear suspension consists of two non-adjustable shocks and a 3.3-inch travel.
The bike uses a 125cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine that is air-cooled. This engine has been designed to deliver simple but robust performance. The valve train for this engine is a two-valve SOHC type. The bore and stroke for this bike are 52.4 mm by 57.9 mm while its compression ratio is 9.3:1. The new Honda Monkey 2019 engine is fed by a PGM-FI induction that yields strong and enjoyable power.

A full transistorized ignition, intake tract, air cleaner, and muffler are part of the other great features that enhance this bike’s performance. The transmission configuration is a 4-speed manual system that is intended to generate smooth power and strong torque capabilities. The electric starter also aids its strong performance. The bike will generally perform well in around-town riding situations.
Price and release date
The bike is expected to get to the market in September 2018 as a 2019 model. When it gets to the market, expect it to trade in the region of $3999 for the monkey model and $4,199 for the front-only 2019 Honda Monkey ABS model. Just like its Grom counterpart, this bike is expected to be a big hit on the market.
