2019 Honda Rebel, The Legend is Back

Honda is the leading manufacturer of power sports, especially their heavy bikes have acclaimed worldwide. Honda Rebel which was first introduced in the market back in 1985 is one of them. The all-time favorite cruiser is back now, equipped with modern technological enhancement. The 2019 Honda Rebel will be available in two variants, Rebel 300 and Rebel 500.

2019 Honda Rebel Colors, Dimensions, Outlook

With its blacked-out styling and muscular body, the 2019 Rebel is worth noticing motorcycle. Its low slung seat height is 22.2 Inches giving you a leaning posture. If you want to tag along with your friend on a ride, there is an option in both models to install a removable passenger seat, foot pegs, and its hangers. Rebel 300 headlights are round in shape perfectly mounted on its steel body with aluminum frame.

Whereas the Rebel 500 has thick handlebars and a fuel tank of peanut shape. The headlights are mounted high on an aluminum frame.
Both the motorcycles Rebel 300 and Rebel 500 have the compact frame with narrow stance making it easier for the riders to carry it all along. Their fenders and subframe are made up of aluminum making it light weighted. Rebel 300 has a curb weight of 364 pounds whereas the curb weight of Rebel 500 is 408 pounds.

2019 Honda Rebel 500

The wheelbase of both the motorcycles is 58.7 inches. Both will be featuring hydraulic disc brake system and will be running on Dunlop tires, the front one is 130/90 – 16 inches whereas the rear one is 150/80 – 16 inches. Rebel 300 will be available in three distinguished colors, Candy orange, Matte Gray Metallic, and Pearl Gray. The Rebel 500 will be available in Candy orange, Matte Fresco Brown and Matte Gray Metallic exterior paints.

Honda Rebel 2019 Engine

Honda bikes are worth mentioning due to their strong and roaring engines. Both Rebel 300 and 500 have got different engines that distinguish them from each other.

Rebel 300

The Honda Rebel 300 will be running on a single cylinder 286 CC, DOHC liquid cooled engine. The engine is paired up with six-speed manual transmission and able to produce an output of 27.4 HP and a torque of 20 pounds/feet. It has a bore and stroke of 67mm x 63mm and has transistorized ignition. The fuel capacity is around 3 gallon(2.96 gallons) has a fuel economy of 78 miles per gallon.

Rebel 500

The new Honda Rebel 500 will be roaring on the 471 CC parallel twin four stroke fuel injected engine mated with 6-speed manual transmission. It produces an output of 45 horsepower @ 8500 rpm and a torque of 33 pounds/feet @ 6000 rpm. It features full transistorized ignition with a bore and stroke of 67mm x 66.8mm respectively. About fuel capacity it is the same like 300 model, 2.96 gallons and its fuel economy is rated as 76 miles per gallon. Compression Ratio is the same for both engine, 10.7:1.

Price and Release date

The new Honda Rebel 300 will cost around $4,499 whereas the Rebel 500 price is $6,199. Both the variants Honda Rebel 300 and 500 will hit the market in January 2019.
