Honda is a name that needs no introduction as far as four-wheelers are concerned. Over the past many decades it has come out with dozens of models of vehicles. Recently at the Geneva Motor show (held during the early part of this year), Honda revealed a glimpse of the 2019 Honda CR-V Hybrid (EU). However, there is nothing much forthcoming from Honda as far as this crossover is concerned. There are some bits and pieces of information flowing in based on which it might be possible to have some rough idea as to how this vehicle will actually look both inside and outside once it hits the markets.
Honda CR-V Hybrid 2019 Interiors
The interiors of the Honda CR-V Hybrid 2019 have been designed taking into account the fact that it needs easy switchover from one mode of fuel to the other. Hence, when you have a look at the dashboard, you can most certainly come across some new add-ons and features as far as the dashboard is concerned. The SUV’s gets a brand new full-color 7-inch TFT-LCD central display. The interfaces and menus on the dashboard make this switchover possible quite easily. Otherwise, there is quite a bit of continuity as far as the interiors are concerned. One cannot expect any radical changes as far as the steering wheel is concerned and the same is the case with seating arrangements and upholsteries.

2019 Honda CR-V Hybrid Redesign, Exteriors, Designed features
As far as the exteriors are concerned, the 2019 Honda CR-V Hybrid (EU) certainly has taken quite a bit of care to ensure that the safety aspects are well taken care of. The autonomous emergency braking system is one such feature. Further, it also has a forward collision warning apart from lane departure warning and also the warning system to handle road departure mitigation. There are also other features like intelligent speed assistance and rear cross-traffic alert amongst other things.

The exterior styling has been enhanced quite a bit and but the style and substance of the previous versions of Honda CR-V have been retained. Though it is available in different colors, there is no denying the fact that the off-white version which was displayed for a few days is something that catches the eye. The front grille has a completely new look. The LED daytime running lights and the projector headlight lenses are also new and would be liked by many. A Japanese Design School has been put on the job to make some changes to the design features and it most certainly will have attributes that could make an Art Car in more ways than one.
New CR-V Hybrid gets standard 18-inch alloy wheels. Higher trims get a panoramic glass sunroof as standard.

Engine And Price
The 2019 CR-V Hybrid engine has been designed in such a way that it focuses on fuel economy. Though still not sure about the fuel economy it is expected that it should be able to offer around 42.8 mpg and when the hybrid variant is also used the economy may go up to 44.4 mpg. However, there are many who believe that the fuel economy might not look so impressive if they are tested using more stringent U.S EPA standards.
The high fuel efficiency is perhaps achieved because of the 2.0-liter i-VTEC Atkinson-cycle petrol engine plus 2 electric motors. The power will be 143 ponies @ 6,200 rpm for the petrol engine, and 182 ponies/torque of 315 Nm for the electric motor. The onboard battery (lithium-ion battery) for hybrid purposes is good enough to power the vehicle for around 1.2 miles. It can hit around 62 mph in 8.8 seconds (the front drive) while the all-wheel drive would take around 9.2 seconds to achieve that speed. The maximum speed is 112 mph or 180 km/h.
The price should be around GBP 34,030 or USD 43,500 USD. It is expected to hit the market around the middle of 2019.
